I'm finally back at home from Penang, and I'm pretty bummed at the fact that I won't be staying there anymore. I've kinda fell in love with all the heritage and architecture and the many festivals there, haha.
Can't believe a year and a half has already passed from the day I moved there. I honestly had so much fun and collected many, many happy memories in Penang. I want to forever cherish all of them, from the late-night light painting session, impromptu fast food runs, birthday surprises to the pasembur mukbangs and Georgetown roams. Great times with good friends.
Even the little things — like the 7-Eleven trips and the constant binge of lokching and blue vanilla bobas (the absolute bomb, I'm telling you) — are things I'll forever look back and get all fluffy about.
It feels really weird, like you're homesick when you're literally right in your own house. It's strange, lol.
Now I can't go walking for hours around Georgetown, enjoy the wind on the ferry trips, or go to amazing museums with my boo for a while now. Bummer.
I'll get over this feeling eventually, but currently I think I'll just be spending my time missing Penang Island. Haha!
I honestly don't remember how to write now so that's why this post is short and probably lacks a lot of content, whoopsie.
