A Little Peace
December 29, 2019
Hello, and welcome to probably my last post in 2019. It’s 30th December and I’m afraid to admit that I’ve gotten sad quite more than I want to, even in the last month of the year (but to be serious, what’s a blog post where I’m not complaining about how sad I’ve been, lol.)
But! I suppose I’ve gotten a tiny shed of light as of the recent: I’ve finally started interning and it’s so far so good (even though I still experience some anxious moments), hung out with my sweetheart today and even brought him to my house haha, planned to buy Cards Against Humanity soon, took some pretty Christmas-y polaroids, got my first pay aaand spent $60 of that pay for a book I’ve been wanting to check out.
That last one’s still a bit bittersweet since I literally just got my pay the day before, sobs.
The book I mentioned is The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. Seen a few people liking it and from some of the pages on people’s Instagram stories, I thought it’d be worth a look. Hah!
It supposedly helps to make you feel happy about your life without always being positive, and I thought that might help me, especially in these times where I just need a bit more joy in my days.
Anyways, besides that, I’d like to think that things are a bit more calmer than before, and I honestly really need to savor it before it disappears soon, most likely.
